West Amwell Volunteer Opportunities
Without volunteers, the very existence of a small town like West Amwell as an independent municipality would be highly unlikely. (West Amwell Master Plan Economic Element)
Seeking to Volunteer
- To serve on a Board, Committee, or Commission within the Township government submit a Citizen's Volunteer Form.
- The State of New Jersey maintains a listing of volunteer organizations - it can be accessed by clicking here
- You can contact the School District, Fire Company, Rescue Squad (Lambertville New Hope) and (Ringoes)
Needing some Help
- Students in grades 6 through 12 must complete a prescribed number of community service hours each year. If you are in need of some help, reach out to one of the following persons:
- Mr. Petersen (Grades 9-12) bay.petersen@shrsd.org
- Ms. Fenimore (Grades 7-8) joanne.fenimore@shrsd.org
- Ms. Swingle (Grade 6) jaime.swingle@shrsd.org
- The Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts are always in search of community service opportunities - the old Scout slogan of "Do a good turn daily" is still alive and well!
- The West Amwell Facebook page, while not in any way affiliated with municipal operations, is a wonderful resource for both volunteering and seeking some help
We take care of each other, so if you are in need - reach out to any Township Official and we will do what we can.
