Public Works

The West Amwell Deparment of Public Works is vital in keeping all township emergency services and administration operational during the event of an emergency. On a daily basis, they are responsible for maintaining nearly 40 miles of roadway throughout the township. Keeping the roadways safe and clear of snow and ice in the winter and pothole repairs and asphalt overlays during the summer are the priorities. Along with maintaining the roadways, the DPW maintains the township municipal complex, Hewitt Park and all other township open space land. They also operate the township Solid Waste (Trash) and Recycling programs.

Please feel free to contact West Amwell DPW with any questions or concerns at 609-397-3743 or by email at wadpw@westamwelltwp.org
