DPW Service Requests (Maintenance/Removal)
Reporting Potholes: Please contact DPW with the precise location of the pothole(s).
Tree Removal:- All trees located with the Township Right of Way (ROW) are owned privately and the responsibility of the property owner.
- If a specific problem tree is located within the Township ROW and the DPW is capable of safely downing the tree with existing equipment, a tree service request may be approved. Please contact DPW.
- Problem trees located near power lines must be reported to JCP&L by the property owner. (Please contact JCP&L/First Energy, Service Requests, Report Tree Problem)
- West Amwell DPW will not remove downed trees from Township ROW
- When a tree falls naturally, the DPW protocol is to open the roadway safely for the motoring public. All debris will be left on site.
