West Amwell is rich in natural beauty and provides a habitat to a broad variety of wildlife.  Residents should feel safe and comfortable sharing this habitat, which includes staying well-informed and aware of situations that may potentially create conflict between humans and wildlife within the township.   We encourage residents to explore the following useful information resources:

Residents can report a Deer Carcass location on County Roads directly to the Hunterdon County Department of Public Works, Division of Roads, Bridges and Engineering by calling (908) 788-1178 or via email: roads@co.hunterdon.nj.us

Please be prepared to provide the following information:

  • Your Name and Phone Number.
  • Township where carcass is located.
  • County Route Number and/or Name.
  • Location/Road Name, Mile Marker, Distinctive Landmarks, etc.
