Dog Registrar

Dog licenses are due by February 1st of each year. The following information is needed:  name of dog, breed, color, long or short hair, age, owner's name, address and phone number of owner, proof of rabies inoculation and proof of neuter and/or spade.

The cost of the license and registration is $8.20.  An additional charge of $3.00 is assessed for a dog of reproductive age which has not been altered. Licenses renewed after February Ist are subject to an additional fee of $3.00. An additional $1.00 is assessed for each subsequent month of delinquency through the end of August. On and after September 1, failure to obtain a license renewal subjects the owner to a penalty of up to $50.00 for each offense.

A Rabies clinic is offered the first Saturday of May, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Municipal Complex. Dogs must be on a lease, and cats must be caged. An adult is to be present to accompany the animal.
