HOUSEHOLD GARBAGE

West Amwell Township residents may bring their ordinary household garbage to the municipal complex, 150 Rocktown-Lambertville Road, every Saturday between 8:00 AM and 12:30 PM. NO DROP OFF PRIOR TO 8:00 AM!!Please, no liquids, wet paint, large items or hazardous materials! Recyclable materials handled separately, please adhere to guidelines (See reverse).

Residents only! Garbage Cards are required. Permits renew annually July 1st. The permit fee is $150.00 and is purchased through the Municipal Clerk’s Office, Monday – Friday, 8:30 - 3:30, or by mail at the above address. Please include a SELF ADDRESSED STAMPED ENVELOPE and provide proof of residency i.e.: tax or utility bill, driver’s license (displaying physical address) or copy of lease agreement, and/or current garbage card. BRUSH CHIPPING

BRUSH CHIPPING: Residents only! (Please bring your trash card or proof of residency)Brush may be dropped off at the Municipal Complex in the designated area Saturdays from 8:00 AM to 12:30 PM.

Rules: Normal yard maintenance only PLEASE! Brush must be tied with twine, (no wire or plastic binding) in bundles up to four feet long. NO trees, stumps, vines, briars, thorny plants, flowers, grass, leaves, metal, posts, wire, rocks, dirt, or building materials. NO limbs over 6" in diameter or with wire grown in and NO brush from clearing an undeveloped lot or residential wooded areas will be accepted! Mulch chips are available.

CHRISTMAS TREES

Discarded Christmas trees, stripped of all decoration, may be dropped off after the holidays, at the Municipal Complex, 150 Rocktown-Lamb. Road.  Designated area is marked.

CLEAN UP DAY(S)

(NONE PRESENTLY SCHEDULED)

Hunterdon County Utilities Authority Division of Solid Waste and Recycling offers a Residential Clean Up Program for disposal of bulky household items on Saturdays at the County Transfer Station. Rates per vehicle load. Visit the County website at; www.co.hunterdon.nj.us, click on Recycling in Hunterdon, then again on Residential Clean Up Program for details and directions.
