Our hours are on Tuesdays from 11:00 - 6:00 PM, and Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 - 3:30 PM. The Construction Offical and Zoning Officer have office hours on Tuesdays between 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
Building and Fire Inspections are done on Mon, Wed, and Friday between the hours of 10:00AM and 2:00PM. Please call 609.397.2036 to confirm these inspections.
Electrical inspections are done on Monday and Wednesday and must be scheduled through Garden State Inspections at 1.800.882.8344. Plumbing and electrical inspections are performed on Tuesday and Thursday and also should be scheduled through Garden State Inspections at 1.800.882.8344.
In order to obtain some construction permits, prior approvals must be met. For home additions or new structures, such as pools, sheds, barns, etc. you must receive zoning approval. Also, you must have Construction Referral Form signed by Hunterdon County Health Department. They are located on Route 12 in Flemington. Their telephone is 908.788.1351.
