Technical Assistant: Monday through Thursday from 4:30 p.m. – 8:00
p.m.
Construction Official: Monday and Wednesday from 5: 30 p.m. to 8:00
p.m.
Zoning Officer: Tuesdays between 5:30 PM and 7:30 PM.
Building and Electrical inspections are done on Tuesdays and Thursdays; Plumbing inspections are done on Mondays and Wednesdays; and Fire inspections are done on Thursdays. Inspections are to be scheduled by calling the respective inspectors’ voicemail (see above for phone numbers). Each inspector will arrange for their respective inspections with the applicant.
In order to obtain some construction permits, prior approvals must be met. For home additions or new structures, such as pools, sheds, barns, etc. you must receive zoning approval. Also, you must have Construction Referral Form signed by Hunterdon County Health Department. They are located on Route 12 in Flemington. Their telephone is 908-788-1351.
